In may 1999 the Site of Silence became number 8 during the Focus-In Homepage Contest for homepages from Holland and Belgium. There were nearly 500 contestants. |

In october 1999 the Site of Silence was chosen as "Best of Pod" of the Sound Bytes Pod. Due to the publicity there came more visitors on the English version of the Site of Silence, some of them started their tips immediately. |
