Introduction

De Site of Silence came on-line in februar 1999 and has been developed ever since. Everything is typed in Notepad, without the help of any HTML-producing program.

The basic idea came from Paul de Klein (NOB Audio). It was a collection of strange silences, as still can be seen in the section "Visible Silence". This evolved to a collection of silent customary banalities.
