Speech-technical break

o pronounce the letters B, P, D, T en K you need to build up some pressure. After that a little explosion at your lips, tongue or throat can produce a sound.

During the growing pressure it is silent for a short moment. This is illustrated by the reading board poster by NOB Audio. On the classical reading board the text was replaced by graphical sound waves.
Between "no-" and "-te" you see a short break. The same in "ye-t" and "bo-ck".

The poster is not available anymore.
